According to talkSPORT, tensions flared in the mixed zone when one reporter attempted to film Kane on a mobile phone, prompting an argument with another journalist before security officials and a police officer stepped in to restore order.
Kane later praised England’s response to their semi-final disappointment against Argentina, saying the squad deserved to end the tournament with a medal after their commitment throughout the competition.
The Three Lions captain also backed head coach Thomas Tuchel, insisting the manager had played a major role in delivering England’s best World Cup finish since 1966 and would learn from his first major tournament in charge.
