World Cup quarter-final ticket prices have fallen sharply following the elimination of hosts USA and Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal from the tournament.
The cheapest resale tickets for Friday’s Los Angeles quarter-final dropped almost 60%, from $2,950 to around $1,200, according to Forbes via Punch.
The slide followed the USA’s 4-1 loss to Belgium and Portugal’s 1-0 exit to Spain, which ended Ronaldo’s World Cup career.
Average resale prices across all quarter-finals have fallen 31.5% in a day and over 50% in three days, per SeatPick.
Thursday’s France-Morocco tie in Foxborough is now the cheapest at $989. Despite the dip, demand for the July 19 final remains strong, with resale tickets starting at $9,346.
