Sunderland captain Granit Xhaka will reportedly stay put this summer, rejecting Chelsea’s overtures. The Switzerland midfielder, whose contract runs until 2028, was reportedly keen on reuniting with Xabi Alonso. Despite an £8m Chelsea bid being rebuffed, Sunderland sources confirm he’s not for sale, and Xhaka has committed to the Black Cats. Chelsea hasn’t given up hope.
