Records were shattered left and right when England and France met for the bronze medals of the FIFA World Cup on the 18th of July.
England came flying out of the blocks with Declan Rice scoring in the third minute, and by half time it was already 4-0 like France couldn’t even be bothered to attend the game.
The second half brought more entertainment with Kylian Mbappe becoming the outright player with the most goals for all World Cups and Michael Olise registering the highest assists in one tournament.
Bukayo Saka scored a penalty to complete a hat-trick and Jude Bellingham scored to become England’s highest goal scorer in a World Cup tournament.
